  • Previous issues with depression, anxiety or other mental health problems
  • PMS is more common in women in their 30s
  • A family history of PMS
  • Calcium, vitamin B6 or magnesium deficiency
PMS Risk Factors Within Your Control
Neglecting your health can also trigger the development of PMS.
  • Poorly balanced, unhealthy diet
  • High levels of prolonged stress without enough relaxation
  • A lack of exercise
  • High caffeine intake
